The first phase centers around the development of a comparative quoting service for brokers, which has been broken down into several stages. First, “quick quotes” on home and auto policies will be developed, hopefully in early October, followed by full quoting in both languages. This will be followed by administrative functions and form printing for both auto and home policies. The final step, interface with broker management and company systems, is expected before the February 2002 launch. The project was announced last year, but production did not begin until January of this year. Later phases of the project have been hinted at, but as yet no details have been given. Canadian Underwriter Print Group 8 Share LI logo
