I’m surprised that a management consultant wrote this article, without performing any kind of review of most of the options available today in the marketplace. Who actually commissioned this individual? A one “product” evaluation is not a comparison or a way of showing brokers how to save money. I, having been a management consultant in an earlier career, know that to compare products, you seek them out, review them and provide opinion of each of them. Then an article or review would be written about most of the available products (at least the most common three). Without this sort of review your article certainly does not display to the brokers how to “contain” system costs. I thought your magazine was a vehicle for providing unbiased information for insurance professionals. This article has only discussed one solution. Our company and some of our competitors have products that perhaps your readers would have appreciated hearing about. Is this the first article of a series of possible solutions that are coming in place of “Synchron”? I certainly would applaud you if you commissioned the same management consultant to discuss our solution only, in this series of solutions! Respectfully yours, Ms. Eila S.
