The Innovation Group (TiG) welcomes Joseph Perno as an advisor. He recently retired from his role as senior vice president of application systems at Chubb & Sons, after 21 years with the company. Family Insurance Solutions Inc. has a new president with the appointment of Harry Kloosterhuis. He brings 23 years of industry experience, most recently as director of TEIG Holding Co. Former Kingsway General president and COO Steve Smith is the new president and CEO of the Farm Mutual Reinsurance Plan (FMRP). Smith has more than 27 years industry experience and will take over from retiring FMRP president John Harper. Cunningham Lindsay Canada Ltd. has named Michael Alwyn branch manager of the firm’s Barrie, ON office. He brings more than 15 years adjusting experience to the new position, most recently with the firm’s Halifax office. Standard Auto Wreckers has appointed Randy Brant as director of business development. He has 15 years experience in linking insurers with the collision repair and auto parts industries.
