After 45 years in the adjusting business, Crawford Adjusters Canada president Skip Sutherland celebrated his retirement at a reception in Toronto recently. Many speakers chronicled Sutherland’s career from his start with Zurich in 1957, through the formation of Adjusters Canada Inc., which was bought by Crawford in 1998. They spoke of his dedication to the industry, and in particular to the education of adjusters. Joining Sutherland were his wife, Nancy, children (including son Scott, vice president of IT at Crawford and one of the evening’s speakers) and his mother, Lloy King.
