In addition, the NOAA expects that 13 and 16 named tropical storms will form. Between eight and 10 of these expected storms, according to NOAA, will grow into hurricanes, and of these four to six will be major hurricanes.The NOAA forecasts that “there will be a continuation of the above-normal activity that began in 1995.
