In this new position, Poon will lead the marketing and sales team and provide strategic direction for the promotion of claims solutions within the Canadian insurance and risk management industries. Poon will assume these responsibilities in addition to maintaining his role as vice president of claims management services. Joining Cunningham Lindsey in January 2007, Poon brings over 17 years of insurance industry experience. He has worked in a management capacity with major insurers, adjusting companies and risk management divisions. Gary Dalton, vice president, western region, has announced the appointment of Lisa McCabe to district manager of Cunningham Lindsey’s Vancouver Metro and Fraser Valley offices. With over 20 years in the insurance claims industry, McCabe has held many positions throughout her career starting with telephone adjuster, property examiner, road adjuster and most recently as unit claims manager for a large insurance carrier. Gerald Mallet, vice president, Atlantic region, Cunningham Lindsey Canada, has announced the appointment of Brian Taylor to branch manager of the Halifax, NS office. Taylor was most recently a complex claims analyst for a large Canadian insurer, prior to which he was both branch manager and adjuster for two independent adjusting firms.
