Applied Systems and Keal Technology jointly announced a partnership that will see two major integrations between the companies’ products.

Keal’s commercial management system, comXP, will integrate with Applied’s broker system, The Agency Manager (TAM).

Keal’s broker management system, sigXP and comXP will integrate with Applied’s real-time system WARP.

The partnership, announced at the Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario conference in Toronto, is the first joint endeavour between the two organizations. The integration should occur as early as 2008 Q1, a joint release says.

Brokers using Keal’s sigXP for personal lines or comXP for commercial business will be able to integrate with WARP to facilitate real-time broker-to-insurer transactions, reducing double-entry, the release says.

“sigXP’s modern architecture coupled with its API (Application Program Interface) make it possible to offer our clients the choice of whatever SEMCI solution they want to use,” Keal president Pat Durepos said in a statement. “Keal will continue supporting its existing SEMCI offerings as well as CSIO Electronic Data Interface transmission with insurers.”
