The Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario (IBAO) appointed Randy Carroll as its chief operating officer. Effective May 1, Carroll began directing the daily operations at IBAO. Preparing for this transition from his three-year tenure as director of operations for the IBAO, Carroll spent the past year working closely alongside retiring CEO Robert J. Carter. As director of operations, Carroll contributed greatly to the implementation and evolution of the CSIO Insurance Portal. While volunteering on the IBAO board of directors as a territory director, Carroll was a motivating force in bringing the Means CostWorks Valuator to the Canadian insurance industry an initiative that continues today. Prior to joining the IBAO Carroll served 18 years as a RIBO licensed broker in the property and casualty business and spent three years volunteering as president of the London Insurance Brokers Association.
