Robertson will work to build a broader spectrum of offerings for HUB clients throughout North America, creating innovative client-focused products and initiatives, as well as co-ordinate HUB’s relationships and business at Lloyds.

“Chad will expand our ambitions to drive new growth programs with other marketplaces for all of our North American operations,” says Cohen, to whom both Osen (pictured right) and Robertson (pictured below left) will report.

The right leadership team is “necessary to maintaining our position and fuelling our ambitions as we take advantage of the exciting changes in the insurance industry,” says HUB International chairman and CEO Martin Hughes.

“HUB’s organic growth and mergers and acquisitions efforts, is creating new opportunities for where and how we do business,” Hughes adds.

Last month, HUB International announced the appointments of Cohen, Larry Lineker as EVP and Richard Gulliver as vice chairman – all effective Jan. 1, 2017 – and reported the company’s new structure would address growth and innovation to support future business strategies.

“It was a logical step in our business planning to put the right people in place to support our growth and to address the changing dynamics in the insurance industry,” Hughes said at the time.

Among Hub International’s most recent acquisitions in Canada was Barrie, Ont.-based Sarjeant Insurance Brokers Limited, which specializes in property and casualty insurance solutions, including auto, residential, recreational vehicle and watercraft insurance, as well as “private client services” for valuables and collections, fine arts, wine collections and personal excess liability.
