The new product is currently available to Royal & SunAlliance as well as Western Assurance brokers by way of the latest version of The Agency Manager (TAM) broker management system.According to Royal & SunAlliance, WARP Data Bridging automates much of the keying required to issue personal auto and property policies on WebBusiness , which is the Company’s web-based policy transactional tool. The addition of WARP Data Bridging is, according to Royal & SunAlliance, the latest in a series of initiatives known as the WebBusiness TM Simplicity Project, which is working to make it easier for brokers to do business with Royal & SunAlliance. This year, Royal & SunAlliance’s web tool was named a finalist in both the Canadian Information Productivity Awards and A.M. Best’s E-Fusion awards. According to reports, Royal & SunAlliance says brokers from all regions of Canada who tested WARP Data Bridging during the pilot stages confirmed it saved them a significant amount of time when issuing new policies.”We believe that WARP Data Bridging will have a huge impact for our broker partners by reducing duplicate entry and making the process of issuing new business much more efficient,” Shawn DeSantis, vice-president of personal insurance at Royal & SunAlliance, says. Greg Purdy, CEO Applied Systems Canada Inc. says that his Company is working with Royal & SunAlliance to extend the WARP technology to its brokers and the Canadian insurance community.”This is an ongoing focus for us, to bring increased value to the insurance transaction by increasing the speed of the transaction and reducing the cost of the transaction,” Purdy says. “We support the broker distribution channel with new methods of communication with their trading partners.” Canadian Underwriter Save Stroke 1 Print Group 8 Share LI logo
