No other details or reasons were given for the departure.Westera leaves just as the CSIO is set to launch its Internet broker-insurer portal in Ontario, and in advance of the CSIO’s AGM, set for April 24.The CSIO release says Marshall Lee, newly-hired director of portal operations will take over as general manager in the interim until a replacement is found.”The CSIO Board of Directors continues to fully support the CSIO Insurance Portal and the independent broker channel and project work continues on this very important industry initiative,” states the release, which comes from CSIO chair Howard Moran. The portal has faced several roadblocks in its path to development, including insurers’ own technology platforms not being ready for full participation.More details about Westera’s departure are promised for the Centre’s AGM.
