The Board of Directors of CG&B Group Inc. of Ontario announces that Jeff Brandham has been appointed president and chief executive officer. Brandham joined the insurance brokerage and financial services provider as a partner in 1979.

AXA Canada has appointed Jean-Denis Talon, currently chairman of the board and president, to the position of chairman of the board and chief executive officer. Robert Fitzgerald, currently president and chief operating officer of AXA Insurance (Canada) becomes president and chief operating officer of AXA Canada. Its subisidary, AXA Pacific Insurance Company, has also named Robert Vickerstaff, currently president and chief operating officer, as vice chairman of the board. Gary Dorman, currently senior vice president, has been appointed president and chief operating officer.

Glenn Gibson, senior vice president and chief financial officer of Queensway Financial Holdings Limited, has decided to leave the company to accept a position in another industry at the end June.

The Centre for Study of Insurance Operations (CSIO) announced the hiring of Laurence Delomosne as national director of standards and technology, managing the delivery of EDI, forms and web screen standards across Canada. Delomosne brings 14 years experience with p&c broker and company system vendors to the position, as well as participation on CSIO committees and as a CSIO instructor.
