The Insurance Brokers Association of Canada is looking for a new executive director following the news that Brendan Wycks will be leaving to pursue other opportunities. Wycks had been with IBAC for two years.

Technology provider Sherwood International has announced the appointment of Alex Davis as director of global strategic projects and Dan Sobotincic as chief technology officer. Davis is formerly Sherwood’s director of development, while Sobotincic was principal owner of Concise Technologies.

Document solutions giant Xerox Canada Ltd. will have a new CEO effective the beginning of 2003 when Doug Lord takes over the position. Current CEO Cameron Hyde becomes senior vice president and general manager of Xerox’s North American agent operations.

FM Global has named Wayne Krause as manager of its ocean cargo business. He is former head of global marine at Zurich Financial Services.
