Shumka Craig & Moore Adjusters Canada Ltd. (“SCM”) has acquired Custard Insurance Adjusters Canada Inc. (“CIA”), providing the independent, Edmonton-based firm with over 60 branches nationwide.

CIA adds 11 Ontario branches to SCM’s roster, helping to solidify its standing as one of Canada’s top three independent insurance adjusting firms.

“Not only will our Ontario operation benefit from this deal,” Larry Shumka, president and CEO of SCM, says, “but we believe it will catalyze business across all of our Canadian branches.’

Shumka adds that SCM will now be even more proficient servicing its clients and customers with the Company’s growing operational and technical base.

CIA was a subsidiary of Custard Insurance Adjusters, Inc. (“Custard”) – a privately held independent insurance adjusting firm based in Atlanta, Georgia that operates through more than 200 offices across 48 states.
