Each Thursday this summer, members of the insurance industry participated in the Great Ontario Salmon Derby, hosted by Blakeney Henneberry Murphy. Launching from Port Credit, the motley crews vied for the biggest catch, with AIG leading as of mid-August. Leading in the salmon and trout categories at that time was Varma Singh.

CARSTAR Automotive Canada and the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CCFF) are teaming up again this year for the FrightLites campaign to raise funds to fight the terrible disease. This year’s spokesperson is Victoria Whitaker, a seven-year-old with CF. FrightLites glow sticks are available from CF volunteers at CARSTAR locations and Mac’s Milk in Ontario, throughout October, with all proceeds to the CCFF. For information visit www.cysticfibrosis.ca.
