TORONTO, ON, MAY 1st, 2024 /insPRESS/ – 30 Forensic Engineering, Canada’s leading multidisciplinary forensics firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ryan Hicks B.A.Sc., B.Sc., P.Eng., CFEI, CVFI as Senior Associate, within our Fire & Electrical Investigations Group and Collision Reconstruction Group.
Ryan holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical, Automotive, and Materials Engineering from the University of Windsor and a Bachelor of Science in Bio-Medical Science from the University of Guelph. He is a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI) and a Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator (CVFI). Ryan has been a forensic expert since October 2015, wherein he has focused on fire, collision reconstruction and product failure investigations. He has conducted investigations related to accident causation, vehicle dynamics, and product failure involving on-highway heavy commercial vehicles, trailers, and passenger vehicles. He also has 5+ years of experience in the automotive industry with a focus on product design and testing. Ryan is a licensed Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario.
