Team STRONE-Itech is very proud to report a banner year in fundraising for Movember 2014. The joint team of STRONE and Itech employees more than doubled last year’s amount, raising $3,340 to assist in the fight against Prostate Cancer, Testicular Cancer, and Men’s Mental Health Issues.

This year’s team grew to 16 enthusiastic participants, 14 MoBros and 2 MoSistas. Top fundraiser was Rick Block from STRONE Brampton, a very passionate MoBro raising a staggering $1,500. Other team members were Gunveer Hazuria (STRONE Oakville), Kris Ayres (Itech Brantford), Mark and Mitchell Augustine (STRONE Bracebridge), Kyle Loverin (STRONE West GTA), Amanda Cummins (STRONE Barrie), Adam Dzsudzsak (Itech Brantford), Michael DaSilva (Itech Markham), Chris Andrews (Itech Markham), Jeff Gagen (STRONE Burlington), Mary Carter (STRONE Bracebridge), Lee Hampson (STRONE Burlington), Jason Cruickshank , Brad Dalrymple (Itech Brantford), and Rob Symons (Itech Brantford).

To quote the Movember website, “The moustache is our ribbon – it’s our way of generating conversations, awareness and raising funds for men’s health.” Team members did a fantastic job of promoting men’s health in generating conversations, awareness, and raising funds. You can bet the team will be back in 2015 for its fourth campaign, with a continued promise to be bigger, better, and hairier than ever.
