HAMILTON, ONT.— CARF International has awarded Alliance of Clinical Evaluators Inc. (ACE) three-year accreditations for its Independent Evaluation Services (Adult) and Independent Evaluation Services (Children and Adolescents). These are the first accreditations that the international accrediting body, CARF, has awarded to the Hamilton-based healthcare management company.

“ACE strives to provide the best customer service possible to our clients and is very proud to receive this recognition from CARF,” said Jackie Sampson-Stewart, ACE’s president and founder. “The CARF accreditation process validates ACE’s commitment to a Kaizen philosophy whereby we recognize the positive attributes of constant improvement to enhance our services. By using the best business practices established for our industry, this ensures that our clients and related stakeholders experience a professional and high-quality service.”

CARF accreditation decisions represent the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and shows ACE’s substantial conformance to CARF standards. Organizations who receive a three-year accreditation put themselves through a rigorous peer review process by demonstrating to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit their commitment to offering programs and services that are measurable, accountable and of the highest quality.

ACE provides its clients with objective, comprehensive reports to quantify loss and facilitate decision-making through third-party medical, psychological, allied health and functional assessments and services designed to meet the needs of various customers including automobile, disability and life insurance providers.

“As a service provider to the insurance industry it is also important to consider current events and the impact of legislative changes relevant to our accredited business practices,” added Sampson-Stewart. “ACE’s CARF accreditations are a signal to the public that ACE is committed not only to the quality and integrity of its services but also on how it serves its clients and the community at large in accordance with all appropriate regulations.”

“We are also proud to support and participate in industry charitable events such as the upcoming Ontario Insurance Adjusters’ Association (OIAA) charity golf tournaments in Ajax and Hamilton. These opportunities allow ACE to demonstrate its core value of social responsibility—bringing out the best in people and making a difference.”
