Both investigators will be based out of CEP’s Toronto office. Zoran Krstic, P.Eng., Ph. D., holds a bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy and Technology from the University of Belgrade, a master’s degree in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering as well as a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Materials Engineering. He has considerable experience in materials characterization and in failure analysis of metallic, ceramic and polymer materials. “Compiling a large number of research projects, proven experience in materials and practical involvement in patents, we are very happy to have Zoran join our team”, says Isabelle Murray, P. Eng., M.A.Sc., Metallurgist, CEP Team Leader in Materials Engineering and Chemistry. “His studies in metallurgy and materials and his Ph.D. in ceramics make him a multi-skilled engineer with extensive experience and expertise”. Alejandro Mejia has just completed his bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering at the University of Toronto. He has experience in materials characterization and failure analysis in the field of Forensic Engineering. “Although he just recently graduated, Alejandro has valuable experience in carrying out forensic investigations from his various internships. These skills will definitely help the Toronto Materials team to accomplish their investigations”, adds Isabelle. “I am very pleased with how things are progressing for CEP in Ontario.
