Program provides HVAC firms with a full range of coverage options

Toronto, ON [October 3, 2013] Burns & Wilcox Canada today announced it will now be offering policies designed specifically for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) contractors. The policies provide Commercial General Liability (CGL) and Contractors Pollution Liability (CPL) on a standalone or package basis.

“Our product mix provides comprehensive coverage that ensures that HVAC contractors are minimally exposed to risk,” said Gary Hirst, National Director, Burns & Wilcox Canada. “Burns & Wilcox Canada offers the type of full-service coverage they need to keep their businesses running.”

The Contractors Pollution Liability offered as a standalone policy or as part of the package includes coverage for third party claims, bodily injury and property damage, including clean-up costs resulting from pollution conditions arising from operations of a non-environmental contractor.

Burns & Wilcox Canada offers minimum premiums on the standalone Contractors Pollution Liability policy of $2,000 for a $1 million limit, which is suitable for HVAC contractors with revenues of under $1 million per year.  When looking for the best premiums, brokers should include as much information as possible, including a revenue breakdown that separates heating, ventilation, air conditioning and tank removal/installation operations.

When clients work with Burns & Wilcox Canada, they have the confidence in knowing they have the security of an A.M. Best “A” rated carrier.
