Toronto, ON [October 7, 2013] – Burns & Wilcox Canada today announced its comprehensive Personal Umbrella Coverage product, offering Primary and Excess coverage for homeowner policies and auto liability policies. 

 “Personal Umbrella Coverage is no longer exclusively for the affluent and judges today are awarding claims often well in-excess of common existing policies,” said Gary Hirst, National Director, Burns & Wilcox Canada. “Our Personal Umbrella Coverage protects clients in the event that an accident may be their fault, ensuring that they don’t experience the crippling costs of a lawsuit.”

Burns & Wilcox Canada offers Primary Excess Coverage limits up to $10 million and Excess Coverage up to $10 million. It also offers Uninsured and Underinsured Motorist Coverage limits up to $10 million and Private Lawyer Expense up to $10,000.

The product allows for coverage for up to four homes, five vehicles, select watercraft and rented or borrowed automobiles. It also includes worldwide personal injury and property damage coverage. Celebrities, athletes, politicians and other high-profile figures are also eligible for coverage with this product.
