Thankfully, many organizations respond to the call for help. This Holiday Season, to salute these humanitarian efforts in its own way, CEP FORENSIC ENGINEERING has posted a 2-minute video on its webpage – expcep.com – inviting its clients and business colleagues to reflect on the vital importance of all the humanitarian help that we witness every time a natural disaster strikes. In addition, the CEP Team has chosen to donate $5,000 to Engineers Without Borders Canada, whose endeavours align with CEP’s engineering expertise. Why has CEP targeted Engineers Without Borders with its donation? There are many worthwhile humanitarian causes doing excellent work; nonetheless, as stated by CEP’s President, Mr. Jean-François Joubert, P.Eng.: “The primary causes of these types of disasters can be countered with the use of engineering principles and their application.” In other words, the engineers at CEP view the application of standard engineering practices as being fundamental to building bridges, structures and roads that will resist the onslaught of natural disasters, and so, as a result, CEP’s financial contribution of $5,000 will support EWB’s good work and charitable enterprise with worldwide communities. Mr George Roter, CEO of EWBC, was thankful for the donation, stating: “Engineers Without Borders is excited to receive support from CEP. Their commitment to equipping communities with the tools, knowledge and skills to build a better, more prosperous future is helping make EWB’s engineers work possible.” For more information, visit these sites : http://www.expcep.com and http://www.ewb.ca For more information please contact: CEP FORENSIC ENGINEERING: Ms Raymonde Crête, 450-686-0240, crete@expcep.com ENGINEERS WITHOUT BORDERS CANADA: Ms Danielle Zacarias, 1-866-481-3696, daniellezacarias@ewb.ca Canadian Underwriter Save Stroke 1 Print Group 8 Share LI logo
