CEP Ottawa welcomes new Fire and Explosion Forensic Investigator

Ottawa, ON – May 2016 – CEP is pleased to introduce a new Electrical Engineer and Fire & Explosion Investigator. Mr. Normand Matte, P.Eng., joined the CEP Ottawa team in January of 2016.

CEPnormandPhotoNormand holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ottawa. He specializes in the analysis of electrical systems and appliances to provide forensic insight into failures, and to evaluate field installations with respect to Code conformity issues, as well as the requirements of the authorities having jurisdiction. He also has extensive experience in mechanical systems, radioactive source equipment, solar panel systems and propane / natural gas installations.
