Toronto, ON, January 7, 2010 The Globe & Mails Report on Business Magazine has named Chubb Insurance as one of Canadas 50 Best Employers for a remarkable tenth year in a row. This Decade of Success as Chubb is referring to it, is an accomplishment attained by only one of other company.
In this study conducted annually by Hewitt Associates, companies are rated based on an employee survey that measures engagement along with corporate managements alignment with employee preceptions.
Chubbs ranking reflected a noteworthy rise in engagement to 83%, one of their highest totals ever. This comes on the heels of a similar improvement in 2009 and pushed Chubb to a 16th place on the list.
Chubb’s long term commitment to being a sustainable employer of choice has resulted in it promoting and acting on core values that its employees share. Chubb Insurance Company of Canada CEO Ellen Moore is elated. What better validation is there for the quality of our organization as a business and employer? Each year we take the time to carefully review the feedback and look for adjustments to make. We are particularly pleased that this years feedback about issues that were raised last year all showed improvement.
