Cira Medical Services Grows its Leadership Team

TORONTO—Cira Medical Services (Cira), a leading provider of medical assessments and health services across Canada, announced  three new appointments and one important role change within its senior leadership team today, further strengthening its ability to service clients across Canada with a focus on Property and Casualty Insurers, Life and Health Providers, Employers and Medical Legal.

Brad Totten, Vice President of Sales and Marketing

In the role of Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Cira welcomes Brad Totten who will be based in their Toronto office. A strategic and motivational leader, Brad brings more than 18 years of marketing and sales experience to his role. As a member of the Cira team, Brad’s strong track record of talent and performance management and strategic business development will help him manage the sales development and marketing functions for Cira, further positioning them as the preeminent medical assessment and health services organization in Canada. Jamie Marcellus, Vice President of Operations

Cira is also pleased to welcome Jamie Marcellus as Vice President of our Canadian Operations, based out of their Toronto office. An effective and passionate leader, Jamie has a strong background in the health care industry including experience as a registered nurse and he has held healthcare sales and operations roles in both the public and private sectors. In his new role with Cira, Jamie will be responsible for the financial performance and quality assurance standards of the operational business units in addition to the leadership of successful people management strategies and building and maintaining client relationships. Ryan Freeman, Vice President, Strategy

Ryan Freeman has been appointed as Vice President of Strategy for Cira where he will be responsible for translating Cira’s long-term vision into reality through the creation and execution of strategic initiatives that will position Cira for sustainable success in the medical services industry. With an extensive background in strategy development, project management, financial analytics, and structure communication, Ryan is a proven and innovative leader. Prior to joining the Cira team, Ryan was a manager for a global strategy firm where he worked with clients to solve diverse problems across functional areas in a variety of industries in North America and Europe, helping them to improve the way they conduct business. Mark Tucker, Senior Vice President, Practice Lead, Property and Casualty

Cira is excited to announce that Mark Tucker, previously Senior Vice President of Operations, has now been appointed Senior Vice President, Practice Lead, Property and Casualty. With 16 years of experience in senior management roles, Mark brings expertise in strategic account leadership, new business development, and large-scale project management to his role. In prior positions, Mark worked in various senior sales and operations positions within SCM Insurance Services including Senior Vice President, National Accounts for ClaimsPro, and he served as Director of National Accounts at GE Commercial Finance, in which he led growth and business development. With a core focus on driving client satisfaction, Mark is looking forward to working closely with insurer clients to strengthen their business through managing clinical risk objectively and cost effectively.
