TORONTO – Pat Van Bakel, president and chief executive officer, Crawford & Company (Canada) Inc., is pleased to announce the new appointment of one of Crawford’s long-standing and most valuable executive leaders, John Sharoun, to the position of Executive General Adjuster/Senior Consultant.

After working with our aviation, energy, forensic accounting and Global Technical Services™ (GTS™) teams in an executive management role across the Americas since July 2013, John has decided to return to the Canadian marketplace. John will pursue his interests in major and complex loss management but will still be involved with Crawford projects across the Americas. He will also be available for external client consulting, auditing and temporary client secondments. John will work closely with the Canadian executive leadership team and the Canadian GTS™ team, and will be based out of the Toronto office.

“John brings decades of experience as a CEO, global executive and as a client-focused technical loss adjuster in numerous disciplines. We welcome his return to the Canadian company,” said Van Bakel. “We are pleased to be able to have direct access to one of our company’s strongest resources and we are looking forward to reintroducing John to the Canadian marketplace.”
