Kyle Winston, President of CRU Adjusters, is pleased to announce the promotion of Glenn Smith, our Director of Training, to Vice-President of Operations for CRU Adjusters.

Glenn will continue to focus on the development and expansion of the Canadian marketplace, while managing storm sites and continuing adjuster education classes at our training facility.

Glenn began his career in the insurance industry as an independent adjuster in 1981 with Wardlaw Claims Service out of Waco, Texas. For 16 years he handled personal and commercial property claims working catastrophe situations including wind, hail, fire, earthquakes and hurricanes.   In 1999 he joined NCA Group in a management role. Under his leadership, hundreds of adjusters have processed insurance claims for victims of these disasters across the United States.

Throughout his career Glenn has utilized Xactimate, a software widely used by many of the major insurance adjusting firms, and has been certified to train others on the product.  This experience and his natural teaching style made him the ideal candidate for “Director of Training”.  Since 2008 he has been the backbone of the CRU’s Catastrophe training centre.

“Throughout the past two years Glenn has done an incredible job as our head of training where he ushered in a comprehensive adjuster’s training programme.  As a direct result CRU saw our list of certified and Xactware trained adjusters grow by leaps and bounds.  This past summer Glenn managed two of our large storm sites across the country.  These storm sites were successful not only for our firm, but for our Clients as well.  It only seemed like the next logical step would be to appoint him as our new V.P. of operations.” says Kyle Winston, President.
