CRU Environmental Services to Participate in Clean Pacific Conference

The CRU Group (CRU Adjusters, Maltman Group International, Academy of Insurance Adjusting) announced today that the Environmental Services Division will be participating in the upcoming CLEAN PACIFIC convention next month. The event is being held on June 16-18 at the Vancouver Convention Centre.

CLEAN PACIFIC covers a wide range of prevention, preparedness and response topics, with a focus on the growth in crude transportation across the West. It provides a forum for responders, operators, regulators, equipment providers and environmental groups to openly discuss best practices and industry trends. CLEAN PACIFIC is co-hosted by the member agencies of the Pacific States/British Columbia Oil Spill Task Force and it incorporates the Task Force’s 2015 Annual Meeting. The 2015 agenda was developed by an Advisory Committee representing State/Provincial and Federal government, industry and the non-profit partners in oil spill prevention, preparedness and response.  If you are involved in the industry, this is the must-attend event for you!

CRU Environmental Claims Division is directed by Oland Robinson.  Mr. Robinson has assembled a team of HAZWOPER credentialed managers and adjusters with more than 300 combined years of environmental claims expertise. This combined knowledge will insure an effective response to an environmental event for all CRU clients. Mr. Robinson has extensive expertise in preparing a well formulated Emergency Response Plan, which when tested and trained, will produce a more favorable result for the chemical producer, distributor, and its insurer.

CRU’s Environmental Division can assist its clients by providing outside legal services, accounting analysis, safety and regulatory compliance both before, during, and after an event and has the capability to effectively audit first responders, and outside contractors’ invoices for accuracy and necessity often saving millions of dollars in a major event.
