Catastrophe Response Unit (CRU) will be presenting the first of its Earthquake Insurance Symposiums in Toronto, Ontario on Monday, March 24, 2014.

This event is designed for claims management professionals in the P&C Industry. Led by Tim Dempsey, a veteran manager of four prior earthquake deployments, this presentation will cover the complexities of effectively responding to this unique catastrophe.

This Monday morning symposium will follow a three day CRU Adjuster Conference and Certification held in Toronto for the fourth year.

In this event, Mr. Dempsey will explore a multitude of topics that are outside the range of “traditional” catastrophe preparations, including infrastructure workarounds (transportation, hydro, housing, and communications), expert resource challenges, delays in the claims processes, and outline the preparation required to meet the needs and expectations of the policyholders.

The symposium will be held at the Trump Tower (downtown Toronto) and will begin with breakfast. For additional information and to reserve a seat, please contact Gary Winston at (416)566-5685 or gwinston@cruadjusters.com
