CRU Toronto Earthquake Symposium Adds Additional Expertise

Chief meteorologist for Global News, Mr. Anthony Farnell, will be providing an outline of “at risk” Canadian markets that would be effected with a potential earthquake.

The CRU Earthquake Symposium, set to take place at the Toronto Trump Tower on Monday, March 24th, will feature short presentations from Mr. Farnell, Hugh West of EagleView Technologies, Michael Ropret of Rochon Engineering and Tim Dempsey of Catastrophe Response Unit, Inc.

In addition to managing multiple earthquake event responses, Mr. Dempsey is currently teaching the California Earthquake Certification course throughout the US and Canada. He is also the Lead Consultant to carriers regarding adjuster and claims management for earthquakes and tsunamis.   

The CRU Earthquake Symposium will begin with a complimentary breakfast starting at 7:30 AM with presentations from 8:20 AM until 9:40 AM. The program is open to insurance professionals involved in claims management and underwriting.
