CRU Toronto Insurance Seminar Begins Thursday

With eight guest industry experts, CRU is again presenting information and educational sessions designed to enhance the claims knowledge of insurance professionals. Starting March 12th at the Delta Markham Hotel, the first two sessions are about environmental claims (including a CTEH review of Lac Megantic), followed by a review of new technology and data available to improve claims process. The final two presentations review fracking and its relationship to seismic events and a case study of urban flooding and better preparation.

Guest speakers include Dr. Paul Nony of CTEH, Jonathan Rice of AIA, Burns Cheadle of Western University, Dan Sandink of ICLR, Oland Robinson of the Environmental Division, Carolyn Rennie of CatIQ, and Anthony Farnell of Global National.

Friday classes include Symbility, EagleView, ICC, Xactimate, Xactanalysis and transitioning to adjusting Environmental Claims.

Both days of presentations are open to all insurance professionals including staff and independent adjusters. Thursday evening at 5:30 PM, CRU will host a complimentary event and social to introduce the Maltman Group International team. This event will include dinner and a Vegas style show from the Legends of Rock – George Trullinger.
