Cunningham Lindsey Appoints Mike Alwyn Vice President Major Loss Services

MISSISSAUGA, ON – Cunningham Lindsey Canada Claims Services Ltd (“Cunningham Lindsey”) President and CEO Rob Seal is pleased to announce the promotion of Mike Alwyn to Vice President, Major Loss Services (“MLS”), formerly known as Commercial Risk Division and Specialty Services (“CRD”).

With over 25 years experience, Mike is well known in both the Canadian and International insurance markets as one of the top Executive General Adjusters. A Captain in the Canadian Air Reserve, Mike has earned his MBA, is a Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional, and winner of the Canadian Insurance Claims Managers Association Award for the highest FCIP grades in the Province of Nova Scotia. “He brings technical claims expertise, significant high profile loss experience, great business knowledge and strong management capabilities to his role,” said Rob. “Mike is the ideal candidate to run our Major Loss Services division.”

Prior to this appointment, Mike was the Assistant VP, Commercial Risk Division and Specialty Services where he contributed to the growth of this niche unit.

“Our team of Executive General Adjusters, Senior General Adjusters and General Adjusters are some of the best major and complex loss adjusters in Canada,” said Seal. “Under Mike’s leadership I am confident he will continue to grow this division in key regions across the country, specifically Western and Atlantic Canada, while expanding its very specialized service offerings to the Canadian insurance industry.”

In tandem with Mike’s appointment is the rebranding of the CRD name to Major Loss Services to more closely align itself with other Cunningham Lindsey major and complex loss adjusting teams.
