Donald Kunkel Appointed National Vice President of Business Development for AssessMed

AssessMed Inc., a privately held Canadian corporation, and a professional, evidence based assessment organization, is pleased to announce the appointment of Donald Kunkel as National Vice President of Business Development for AssessMed.

Don has 25 years’ experience within the insurance industry. Don began his insurance career as a telephone adjuster for Markel Insurance in 1988. Over his lengthy career within the insurance sector, Don has worked as an all-lines independent adjuster, a senior AB field rep for a large Canadian insurer; and as the lead adjuster of an SIU division. In 2001, Don entered the IME space and for four years he owned and operated FAIR Medicals, a nationally recognized independent medical assessment company.

In 2005, Don sold his company to Medisys Health Group and rose to the rank of Vice President of Business Development. Don is a highly customer focused management professional. He will lean heavily on his many years of experience in the Insurance Industry to enhance AssessMed’s customer service model, which meets and exceeds the very specific requirements of today’s adjusters, adjudicators, legal professionals and HR consultants.
