OTTAWA, ON – April 23, 2014 – ENCON Group Inc., a leading managing general agent in Canada, announced today an expansion of its automatic renewal program for Errors and Omissions policies that are due to renew on June 1, 2014 or later. Previously only offered to selected business classes, ENCON’s simplified renewal process will now be available to a much wider range of errors and omissions insurance clients.

“Automatic renewals have long been a standard offering at ENCON in a more limited capacity, and their convenience to both brokers and their clients has been well received,” said Monique Bélanger, Assistant Vice-President, Errors and Omissions, ENCON. “Our expanded automatic renewal initiative is a great fit with our continuous efforts to streamline the application-to-quotation and binding process.”

To qualify for an automatic renewal, the insured must:

      • Be claims free
      • Maintain a maximum limit of $2 million with premiums of less than $10,000 annually

The Errors and Omissions policy term varies by class of business from one to three years and the premium will be adjusted based on the class of business. A full listing of qualifying classes can be found on ENCON’s eMarketing kit at http://www.encon.ca/MarkingEO.

“ENCON has more than 30 years of experience in errors and omissions insurance, providing valuable coverage for professionals from many walks of life in Canada, including financial, legal, medical, environmental and communications fields,” explained Ms Bélanger. “It protects those individuals and their organizations against allegations of errors, omissions and negligent acts, which can result in significant financial loss.”
