AVA MARINE EXPANDS IT’S MARINE SURVEYING CAPABILITES

Effective October 01, 2012 AVA Marine is able to provide services to the following regions:

1. Western Canada – Vancouver / Northern BC ports of Prince Rupert & Kitimat

2. Eastern Canada – Great Lakes / Toronto / Montreal & Halifax

3. Province of Alberta

3. US West Coast – Tacoma / Vancouver / Portland

4. Mexico

5. Panama

6. Kuwait

“We are seeing increased project cargo activities in the Great Lakes mainly wind energy components and heavy machinery shipped from Europe to Alberta and Northern US destinations via rail, hence expanding our services to these regions makes sense.

Also as the expansion of the Panama Canal comes to an end – we have extended our reach south of the border up to Mexico and Panama as many regions are preparing for an increase in trade through infrastructure improvements in order to capitalize on new opportunities – said the founder and Principal marine surveyor & consultant of AVA Marine.

Though the core business of AVA Marine is P&I Condition Surveys (routine & entry surveys), Flag State Inspections, Hull & Machinery/ Pre-voyage Surveys / UT Hatch Cover Testing, Steel Outturn survey & Project Cargo Loading/Discharging/Lashing Supervision, AVA Marine is also heavily involved in cargo damages, load/stow/transloading and securing surveys .
