The Program’s centre-piece is the BIP symbol known as the BIPPER. The symbol captures the value that insurance brokers bring their clients: choice, coverage, security and peace of mind. By investing in the program, Gore Mutual Insurance Company supports a campaign whose purpose is to raise awareness of the value of the insurance broker distribution network. “As a company with a long history in the Canadian insurance industry, we are proud to support such a distinguished program that represents the value offered by brokers,” says Kevin McNeil, President and CEO of Gore Mutual Insurance Company. “Through this program we recognize the importance that insurance brokers play in providing consumers with professional, unbiased advice.” IBAC CEO Dan Danyluk added: “We are pleased that insurers realize the advisory role brokers play in dealing with consumers. Gore Mutual Insurance Company is not only a valuable partner to brokers, but by investing in the program they contribute to helping Canadian consumers understand the difference between the broker channel and the other channels.” Launched 24 years ago, the mission of the Broker Identity Program is to promote the value and professionalism of the insurance broker to consumers, insurers and governments. It is a branding campaign for over 35,000 insurance brokers. Founded in 1921, the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada is a federation of 11 provincial and regional associations of property and casualty insurance brokers across Canada. http://www.ibac.ca Canadian Underwriter Save Stroke 1 Print Group 8 Share LI logo
