Granite Claims Solutions Welcomes Blair McGregor as Vice President Operations for Western Canada

October 9, 2013 – Michael Holden, President and CEO of Granite Claims Solutions, is pleased to welcome Blair McGregor to the Granite Team as the new Vice President of Operations for Western Canada.

Blair, a seasoned veteran of the insurance industry, has spent many years in various roles within national insurers and independent adjusting firms across the country.

“With a great knowledge of Western Canada’s insurance and adjusting landscape, Blair is the perfect person to oversee our teams in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia,” says Holden. “As we continue our expansion and product offering in the western provinces, his hands-on approach to developing our branches will be integral.”

Blair will be taking over the role previously held by David Porter, who will now focus on business development in Western Canada. David has, over the past two years, built Granite’s Western Canadian presence substantially, opening five new offices and bringing on a dozen new senior adjusters.

“David has done a stellar job of building Granite’s presence in Western Canada while juggling both the Sales and Operational roles. Now that we can divide those duties, we expect to see our successes to accelerate even further,” says Holden.

Greig Boyle, Executive Vice President of National Operations, sees Blair as a key player in Granite’s strategic vision. “Having worked across much of Western Canada, Blair understands the intricacies of each region in Western Canada, and has a great deal of knowledge of the operational aspect of this business. As an effective manager, Blair will be able to help build each region individually, and ensure our best-in-class product offering continues to improve. So as we grow, we want to improve, and Blair is perfect for achieving this.”
