The Insurance Institute, the industrys premier source for professional development, has once again updated existing services and added exciting new features via new technology training Webinar offerings called the Tech Tools Series.

The Tech Tools Series was designed to help foster and develop skills to increase efficiency and productivity. Using common business software, the Tech Tools Series teach best practices to ensure more work can be done in less time. Each Webinar consists of a 90 minute lesson and students will receive a certificate of completion afterwards. This fall and winter, the Tech Tools Series includes Webinars on effective use of e-mail and in-box management, tips to maximize your Outlook calendar features, and using Excel pivot tables for analysis. Additional Webinars in the Tech Tools Series will follow.

We often hear through our member feedback that they would like the Institute to offer technology training options. People are very eager to improve their time management skills and get more work done in less time by taking better advantage of the features in the software they are already using everyday, said Peter Hohman, president and CEO, Insurance Institute. Our members will find it especially helpful that Tech Tools Series Webinars can be purchased separately or in bulk for significant discounts, at both individual and small and large group rates.
