Keal clients operating in the Application Service Provider (ASP) environment can now access all hosted applications on several Apple devices, including iPad™, iPhone® and iPod touch®. Keal broker clients can now work anywhere as though they were in their brokerage, using Apple tools like iPad™, to access: • sigXP, Broker Management System (BMS) • comXP, Commercial Management System (CMS) • dokXP, Document Management System • premiumXP, Premium Finance System • lifeXP, Life Insurance Management System • Any other hosted application like Microsoft Office, including Outlook Keal applications work within iPad™ rich features like Multi-Touch screen, that lets users navigate, type and expand viewing areas with touch. Brokers can use any available wireless hotspot to connect to Keal”s applications or optional 3G/4G connectivity which uses cell phone signals when internet is not available. “Considering the size of the iPad™ screen, how easy they are to use and manipulate data, the battery life, and 3G/4G connectivity, there is no reason not to work in real time and in a paperless environment,” said Pat Durepos, president Keal Technology. “At the Keal and CSU users’ conference last week, we were showing our clients this new functionality. They immediately saw benefits of accessing and working with their client data from anywhere with or without an internet connection.” Keal enabled the ASP environment to accept connections through the Citrix Receiver app that can be installed on various Apple mobile digital devices, including: iPad™, iPhone® and iPod touch® to allow connectivity.
