Keal Connect sends CSIO XML data in real-time from sigXP directly to York’s Broker support systems and eliminates additional software requirements for the broker. York is the first insurance company to go live under the new advanced Keal Connect solution. York brokers are able to perform Inquiry, New Business Upload (auto & property) and Manual Endorsement transactions from sigXP to York. This replaces the need for additional third-party software currently available to perform some or all of these transactions, and enables York brokers to continue to work smoothly and effectively with York using modern, innovative technology. Keal Connect uses a proven reliable connectivity solution provided by iter8 that has served insurance carriers and brokers for over 10 years providing data transformation and integration services with multiple carrier systems including policy administration systems, carrier portals, third party reporting systems, broker management bridging systems, and third party rating systems. Keal Connect extends sigXP’s single-sign-on service and will support the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC) Data Exchange Project currently underway with multiple BMS vendors and insurance companies. Benefits for brokers using Keal Connect: No charge for sigXP brokers. Data integrity – no duplicate data entry required. Cost savings – no middleware to purchase and maintain. Increased efficiencies – reduced data entry, single entry solution, less clicks and screens. Ease of use – same workflow currently used in sigXP, no additional software/portals to learn as the transactions start and end in sigXP. Speed to market – as additional carrier capabilities become available, Keal Connect will evolve quickly to deliver new functionalities. Keal Technology President Pat Durepos stated, “We are extremely happy to offer Keal Connect with our first carrier, York. The broker community wants seamless integrations that start and end in their BMS which this satisfies. This integration was delivered to the marketplace in less than 60 days due to iter8’s proven configurable software, York’s motivation to benefit their brokers, and sigXP’s modern architecture. We are delighted to offer our clients enhanced functionalities that streamline broker processes allowing them to sell more and offer enhanced service levels.” Benefits for carriers using Keal Connect: Data integrity – accurate. Increased efficiencies – reduced data entry, single entry solution. Speed to market – implementation ease. Robust platform – new functionalities for automated policy change and commercial available soon. Meets independent brokers’ goals for overall ease-of-doing-business. “We are excited to introduce improved efficiencies in the data transfer between York and Broker Management System (BMS), sigXP. This project is reflective of our commitment to provide our Broker partners ‘ease of doing business’ tools to help them successfully compete and grow their businesses,” said Martin Delage, York’s President and COO. “Each of the transactions begins, and ends, in sigXP, with the inquiry transactions requiring no engagement with the York portal, allowing the Broker to work in the environment they are most comfortable with.” Keal is currently working with multiple carriers to offer integrations via Keal Connect. Phase two of Keal Connect will include automatic endorsements (Policy Change) to further streamline broker workflows.
