Mariner Innovations Industry Expansion and New Toronto Office

Saint John, NB and Toronto, ON – Mariner Innovations, a leading Canadian supplier of IT professional services, is proud to announce an expansion into the Property & Casualty Insurance Industry, as well as the opening of a new office in Toronto. Mariner is excited to be welcoming several talented new employees to the team from OARBIC, a boutique P&C Insurance IT professional services firm based in Toronto.

A special welcome is given to Peter Symons, President of OARBIC, and Roula Partheniou, VP of Operations.  Both Peter and Roula bring a deep level of expertise as well as years of experience in the industry. With this expansion, Mariner will also gain the ability to draw from over 150 independent P&C specialty consultants who work with OARBIC for future opportunities in Ontario and across Canada.

Peter joined OARBIC in 2003 overseeing Operations, and executing Project Audits and other Program Management assignments. Peter has worked in the P&C industry for over 25 years; prior to joining OARBIC, Peter worked with Applied Systems, Paxus, Teleglobe/CGI and Castek – all insurance companies or insurance broker software vendors – and was responsible for the delivery of implementation projects. 

Roula joined OARBIC in January 2005. Her role encompasses the management of all consultant relationships, as well as the development and management of internal processes, finance and administration.  Roula is also a professional artist who has exhibited nationally and internationally.
