CAREER OPPORTUNITY – Casualty Claim Adjuster 

MGB Claims Consultants Inc is expanding! With offices in Toronto and Burlington, our team continues to grow.  We are seeking to add 2 motivated individuals to join our dynamic group.  We have both junior and intermediate positions available.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Claims Adjuster is responsible to identify and meet the needs of the customer and ensure a timely and thorough investigation of the claim in order to confirm coverage, identify liability, eligibility, exposure and/or entitlement.  The Adjuster must provide efficient and prompt investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement of large and/or moderately complex claims in accordance with regulations, guidelines and the best practices of the client and MGB Claims Consultants.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Investigate, confirm coverage, evaluate, negotiate settlement of claims in accordance with established guidelines
• Assess liability and prepare theory of defense
• Pursue recovery where applicable
• Prepare comprehensive client reports
• Accurately assess reserves
• Litigation Management
• Adhere to service standards by communicating effectively with all parties involved
• Other duties as required

REQUIREMENTS

Junior position:  2 + years claims adjusting experience and licensable

Intermediate position:  5+ years claims adjusting experience and minimum probationary license
