New Halifax Office Strengthens Atlantic Presence for Burns & Wilcox Canada

 

Brett Graham joins as Nova Scotia Representative

 

Toronto, ON [June 26, 2013]  – Burns & Wilcox Canada today announced that it has significantly strengthened its Atlantic Canada presence with the opening of a new office in Halifax and the appointment of Brett Graham as its Nova Scotia Representative. An experienced and bilingual insurance executive, Mr. Graham specializes in commercial multi-line underwriting, sales, team management and customer service. 

“We see the strong potential for business growth in the Atlantic Provinces and our new office in Halifax positions Burns & Wilcox Canada well,” said Gary Hirst, National Director, Burns & Wilcox Canada. “As our Nova Scotia Representative, Brett will work closely with the team in our St. John’s office to provide the exceptional level of service that Atlantic brokers have come to expect from Burns & Wilcox Canada.”

Mr. Graham joins Burns & Wilcox Canada from RSA Insurance where he most recently served as Regional Director for Montreal and Quebec City with responsibility for sales, underwriting and operations. Previous roles with RSA include Commercial Underwriting Manager, Underwriter Effectiveness Program Leader and Specialty Risk Solutions Team Leader.  

In addition to completing significant professional development programs, Mr. Graham has a Bachelor of Commerce in Management from Dalhousie University and a Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional diploma from the Nova Scotia Insurance Institute.
