Previously offered for iPhone and Android, CRDN Mobile now is available to Blackberry users seeking expert textile restoration services that help insureds recover from damage to their homes. CRDN Mobile was developed in response to what many adjusters, agents and restoration contractors indicated were some of their most important needs, including the ability to track the progress of a claim in real time. “Our new mobile app is another step toward streamlining communications among CRDN service providers, our clients and their customers,” said Wayne Wudyka, CRDN’s CEO. “We believe integrating mobile technology will further enhance our 24/7 availability and response, and, in turn, ease the ability for insurance adjusters, agents and restoration contractors to provide their customers with necessary and prompt attention.” Over the past decade, CRDN has consistently achieved industry-leading status due in large part to its commitment to utilizing custom-designed technology to maximize efficiency throughout the claims process. According to Michael Ewles, CRDN’s Director of Information Technology, “The response to the new app has been overwhelming. In just two months, the app has been downloaded nearly 1,000 times, which is a testament to the interest in convenience and accessibility among the insurance and restoration contractor communities. The interface is intuitive and user-friendly. Importantly, it enables our clients to increase productivity and improve customer satisfaction by giving them a way to start the restoration process directly from a loss site.” Added Wudyka, “Demonstrating action is a key step in helping a policyholder see that their adjuster, agent or restoration contractor is actively working on their behalf, taking that first step in the recovery process. Garments and other fabric items often are very personal and have a high restoration rate when the process begins quickly. With CRDN’s broad geographic coverage and more than 250 textile restoration service centers in North America, our teams can be on a loss site within hours, which reflects very positively on those involved with a claim.” Industry professionals can download CRDN Mobile at www.crdn.ca or from the platform-specific websites. CRDN is an international organization of experienced, highly trained textile experts who specialize in insurance restoration laundry and drycleaning services for all types of loss. Adept at restoring personal garments and household fabrics damaged by fire, smoke, water or exposure to mold and other contaminants, CRDN members offer an effective, efficient and proven solution for insurance professionals seeking to reduce costs and improve customer satisfaction. CRDN currently operates in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
