On Side Restoration Ramps Up to Support Southern Alberta

Calgary, AB – On Side Restoration is currently strategizing and deploying emergency restoration teams in southern Alberta to supplement their two branch offices located in north and south Calgary, as well as Medicine Hat and Lethbridge to help mitigate loss caused by the southern Alberta floods this past week.  

The company is finalizing details around accommodation and will be ready to deploy approximately 100 additional staff by end of day Wednesday. Ramped up crews include 50 individuals from Ontario, 30 from Vancouver including Water Technicians, Project Managers and Assistants to manage job flow despite the volume of claims. On Side is also in the process of hiring additional local personnel to help work with demolition and any upfront remediation work required. In the following weeks, On Side will bring on further resources that will top this staff number upwards of 250 additional people.

“The loss in Calgary and surrounding areas is significant. We are doing everything we can to move available resources for aid and remediation for the homes and businesses in this region”, stated Craig Hogarth, President of On Side Restoration. “Given our national strength, we will continue to work as quickly and efficiently as possible despite the huge volume of claims.” Mr. Hogarth continued “every day we are adding more capacity, and every day we’ll be able to meet increased demand”.

On Side has dispatched additional flood trucks, extraction equipment and over 1,500 pieces of drying equipment.  Other branches will be consolidating and shipping equipment to Calgary as required. Where more supplies are needed to expedite a job or reach more insured’s due to volume, the company is purchasing further pieces to meet the needs of their clients.

With strategic planning meetings being held in the evenings, over the weekend and 2-3 throughout each day, all teams are being coordinated and equipped for efficient response to assist with as little down time as possible between projects.
