Opta Information Intelligence welcomes Matt Thompson as Director of Environmental Services

Toronto – Opta Information Intelligence (Opta), a leading provider of data management and risk information technology for insurance and corporate industries across Canada, announced today that it has appointed Matt Thompson as Director of Environmental Services. As an expert in Canadian environmental due diligence standards and requirements, Matt is committed to strengthening his client relationships and providing unique perspectives on resolving complex situations with high-value business insight. As a member of the Opta team, Matt will highlight and share the depth and quality of environmental information and solutions as offered by Opta Information Intelligence.

Prior to joining Opta, Matt was responsible for business development and the management of team operations as both a Director of Sales and Client Services and as a Project Manager. He brings with him extensive educational credentials from AESAC (Associated Environmental Site Assessors of Canada), undergrad work in Geography and GIS, a Certificate in Project Management from the University of Toronto, and multiple Management and Leadership courses at the Canadian Management Centre.
