Opta Information Intelligence welcomes Michael Wright BBA, Bcs as Vice President of Information Technology

Toronto – Opta Information Intelligence (Opta), a leading provider of data management and risk information technology for insurance and corporate industries across Canada, announced today that it has welcomed Michael Wright as Vice President of Information Technology. With more than 9 years’ experience in the insurance industry, and 15 years’ experience in Information Technology, Mr. Wright is committed to delivering superior client service, insurance sales, and operations.

Prior to his appointment with Opta, Mr. Wright spent many years at an international technology firm, first as Vice President of Business Development, then as Senior Vice President of Operations. In these roles, Michael was responsible for sales and account management across key clients, as well as the successful implementation of innovative products and solutions. His leadership and sales acumen make him ideal for this position with Opta.

In this new position, Mr. Wright is responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of the core set of solutions for Opta, enabling the organization to meet the challenges of a competitive and ever-evolving industry.
