Pario Engineering & Environmental Sciences Extends its Ontario Service Reach by Opening New Ottawa Location

Toronto – Pario Engineering & Environmental Sciences (Pario), one of Canada’s top providers of engineering and environmental services, announced today that, following a recent launch of a new location in Thunder Bay, it is launching a new branch in Ottawa to better serve clients in that region. Mr. Brent Belzac, A.Sc.T has been named as Senior Project Manager of the new office in Ottawa, effective April 19, 2016. This provides an important geographic expansion to Pario’s emergency response and remediation team.

With 20 years of experience as a Senior Project Manager and Environmental Technologist, Brent brings an extensive background to his role. He has comprehensive expertise in Spill Response, Phase I, II, and III Environmental Site Assessments, Site Investigation and Remediation, Environmental Impact Assessments for land use and development, and a variety of solid waste management and engineering projects. Most recently, he served as Senior Project Manager for an environmental consultancy in Ottawa.

Brent has as great deal of experience responding to spill sites, directing the contractors to mitigate the scenes and then remediating the impacts, liaising with regulators, and successfully closing files. He has managed and/or provided support on multi-million dollar spills, and he is equally well versed at cost-effectively managing small and routine releases. Brent is excited to bring his talents to Pario.

Pario has several locations in Ontario and recognizes the needs of clients for engineering and environmental expertise in the Ottawa region. This new office is situated on a transportation corridor along the Trans-Canada Highway, thus providing local support for the management and cost control of environmental spills for clients in that region.
