As the pace of change in collision repair continues to accelerate, all industry stakeholders need to have the right information at the right time, to drive their organizations towards continued growth and success. The RTS Portal also includes collision repair news articles, I-CAR developed matrices for repairs, and a hotline (Ask I-CAR) for collision repair technical questions. Jason will provide an overview of the RTS initiative and an in-depth look at the RTS portal and its features.” 11:10-11:30am Norm Kramer, Consultant, Workplace Safety & Prevention Services This session will provide an interesting and interactive look at health and safety in repair facilities. Norm will demonstrate that looking after people with a good health and safety program isn’t just the right thing to do – it can improve profitability! 11:30am-12pm Andrew King, Managing Partner, DesRosiers Automotive Consultants Inc CCIF Business Conditions Survey: Andrew will present an overview of the performance of the collision market in Canada in 2014, and share market trend information and an industry outlook for 2014. He will discuss a variety of key industry dynamics for the collision sector in Canada such as changes in the vehicle fleet, and trends in new vehicle sales and operation. 12:00 – 1:00pm Lunch and Networking 1:00 –1:45pm George Cooke, President, Martello Associates Consulting George will discuss current insurance trends such as consolidation, legislation, autonomous vehicles, consumers, and telematics, and share his outlook on their impact on the claims side of the industry. 1:45-2:15pm Marie Artim, Vice President, Talent Acquisition for Enterprise Holdings Marie will speak about the company’s highly successful HR strategy that involves advertising, marketing, interactive media, training and tools for the nearly 200 Enterprise Recruiters hiring more than 8,000 university graduates each year. We will discuss ways repairers can learn from this example and apply strategies within their own businesses. 2:15 – 2:45pm State of the Industry: Larry Jefferies, CCIF Chairman This interactive session will include THE VOICE to gather information and feedback to validate and determine some possible future projects. The session will help to shape the CCIF Business Plan for 2015-2016. 2:45 – 3:15pm David Adams, President, Global Automaker of Canada David will moderate a OE Panel Discussion with representatives from Honda, Nissan, Toyota, and Volkswagen. They will discuss OEM repair techniques and their effect on safety, repair instruction, and the impact of body parts on vehicle safety.
