Regina, SK and Saint John, NB – September, 2011 — SGI CANADA is pleased to announce the launch of Brovada’s NexExchange Solution beginning with a broker pilot in its subsidiary operations, The Insurance Company of Prince Edward Island (ICPEI).   The initial launch will offer auto new business upload with habitational new business capabilities following in early 2012.  SGI CANADA will be expanding this solution to its Alberta brokers later this year.

Brovada’s NexExchange portal alternative is an award-winning solution that provides a streamlined workflow allowing SGI CANADA’s broker partners to submit auto new business directly from their BMS and issue that business in real-time. In addition to issuing and printing the policy, brokers will be able to select a payment plan and immediately provide customers with a payment schedule and billing documents.

SGI CANADA already offers real-time access to inquiry of policy, claims and billing details through Brovada’s NexCenter solution, as well as single sign-on to its portal. “The addition of new business upload is an extension of delivering solutions to brokers which are easy-to-use and integrate within their existing workflow,” said John Dobie, Vice President Canadian Operations. “By using industry standards, SGI CANADA can provide e-Business solutions to our brokers who are looking for ways to become more efficient in managing their business including sending new business directly without the traditional paper requests.”

“We are very pleased to add SGI CANADA to our growing list of NexExchange implementations,” said Karl Greenlaw, Brovada’s Founder and CEO, “SGI CANADA sees great value in offering a once and done solution and this approach aligns with the desire of the broker community as was clearly indicated in our recent broker survey.”
